PBL

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a model and framework of teaching and learning where students acquire content knowledge and skills in order to answer a driving question based on an authentic challenge, need, problem or concern. All teachers at LCSC have been certified in PBL by Magnify Learning experts and implement strategies throughout their curriculum yearly to allow students to work collaboratively with their peers, using a variety of employability skills such as critical thinking, communication, and creativity.

Mane Traits

The Mane Traits of a Lion help students to learn the soft skills needed in their everyday lives and in their future endeavors. Students learn the importance of how showing up, being respectful, paying it forward, working hard, being positive, getting along, being flexible, getting grit, joining the club, and continuing to learn will benefit them in the workforce and when with others in their daily lives.
